focused on enriching all the communities in our area.
We are headquartered in East Texas, and we have
theatre family members who live in all surrounding communities.
STAGELANDS is an arts organization run as a private business. We are open to including people who share our vision and our goals.
Christopher Collins, Owner and Artistic Director of STAGELANDS, is a professor, a veteran teacher, director, actor, playwright, pianist, singer, columnist, and education specialist who lives in Emory, Texas. He has written over thirty plays, directed over eighty-five plays, has performed at over 100 weddings, and has taught over thirty years. He has won several awards, including the TETA Texas playwriting award (three times) as well the Sondheim Inspirational Teacher Award from the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C.
